Homelab

I run a home lab that hosts virtualization, networking and containerized services used for learning, backups and self-hosted apps. Typical services include Proxmox, Unraid, Pi-hole, containerized web and media services (Nginx, Pterodactyl, Jellyfin, Navidrome, Kiwix, etc.), and tools for automation and backups. Below is a snapshot of the dashboard and services I maintain.

My experience

Setting this up taught me practical skills in virtualization, storage and backups, networking (VLANs, DNS), container orchestration and service monitoring. I focus on reliable backups, automated deployments and keeping services isolated while maintaining easy access for development and media consumption.

Tools

Windows Autounattend File

Download my autounattend.xml for Windows deployment automation. This file automatically downloads and installs Chocolaty, and uses it to install software. Make sure to keep the computer connected to the internet via ethernet, as you most likely will not have any WiFi drivers installed.
